We really shouldn't be encrouching on the gtk_ namespace anyway.  So probably 
the
best solution is to change all the symbols defined in gtkitementry.c from gtk_* 
to
some other prefix.

Note that this file doesn't exist in 0.7.x so it's not a problem there.
