.....and sorry forgot to include, that most of the text is in tables for
formating purposes so I'm also putting @float around some of them to keep them
together, and that is a bit slow, but should be done in an hour or so.

I don't think I need to state; ignore the spacing. Although I put in
manual page breaks in the first 30 pages of the chapter to see what it looks
like. But note I'll be redoing those to start a new page with new sub sections
and sections if they are longish.
It looks good. I think it's at the stage where it could be checked into a
branch on the
repository. Hopefully, the administrative tasks will soon be done, to allow
you to do this.
In the meantime, could you post the Texinfo source ?o
