I don't think it's a Texinfo problem.  I looked briefly through the .texi file 
that you posted and noticed a number of places where features had been 
incorrectly
used. Some of these are likely to have confused Texinfo.

I can work through these with you if you would like, or we can wait until it's
committed to the repository and fix it then.
