John - It happened a couple of times, .jnl extract (same both times):

SORT CASES BY q241.

SPLIT FILE SEPARATE BY q241.

ONEWAY /VARIABLES= q242num BY bk1_1
 /STATISTICS=DESCRIPTIVES .

Unfortunately the data use is bound by restrictions - but please contact me
privately if you'd like further details.

Dave.

Are you able to reproduce this, or did it happen just once?

If it's something that keeps happening,
perhaps you can send a copy of your pspp.jnl file, along with
any relevant data files and a description of how to reproduce it.
This way, hopefully we'll be able to fix the problem.

Thanks,

John

Splitting the data seems to be one way, but Compare Means > One-Way Anova

Subject: Nested Tables ?

Is there a simple way of emulating the nested tables feature in SPSS (e.g.,
Tables v8) ? TIA

Dave.
