I can not give more details, as I have tried the release candidate versions of pspp4windows in a virtual machine. However, the stable version of pspp4windows works perfectly. Apparently the release candidate versions of pspp4windows are based on daily snapshots of the PSPP master branch git repositories (and therefore may have errors). Download and try the stable version. http://sourceforge.net/projects/pspp4windows/files/2013-07-24/
