from your previous message, we have the full list, I think. So
stamp-h.in is older than both configure.in and aclocal.m4. The
timestamps match the ones in the tar file as well. So it seems that
the tar file shipped with an old stamp-h.in file (or could there be
some midnight/timezone related bug? I don't even know how timestamps
are represented in tar files).
Perhaps I made the last changes and typed make distcheck without first
typing make to update my build directory. I do have a stamp-h.in file
dated Oct 3 00:40, but that is newer then the tar-file, which was
created Oct 2 23:07.
I'll try to remember to check this next time. The make distcheck
target is supposed to unpack the dist and try to build it, but in this
case, it probably just ran autoheader and completed successfully.
