dvips broken!

dvips was working fine before upgrade, now it says:

dvips: ! couldn't open output pipe

It was doing | lpr

Yes I have a /usr/bin/lpr and it works fine.

If I do dvips -o file, it works fine, and then I can lpr <file> and
that's also fine.
