Well, if it's not in production yet, then it doesn't matter. But I tried
it on an IDE drive before I deployed it. It worked. The hard drive
didn't burn out nor did the controller. I could have sent it back for a
replacement if it did. I didn't know how else to test it on the fly.

But I'm liking this RAID 5 box I have here. It is sweet.

I can see your saying being true too. I'm in the bold category, but not
the old one.
