Thanks - I tried specifying /dev/usb/ttyUSB1, then /dev/ttyUSB1,
changing the port settings, and bingo - synchronized everything. I
noticed that the categories I used on the Visor don't come across,
though. :(

Still, not bad. Now time to get Avantgo working!
