Could I get some feed back on this question. Is it a good idea to use /etc/mail/aliases to redirect root mail to a remote mail account (that is if aliases serves that function)? I wonder if this would give a user notice of cracking attempts.
This may be a foolish question, is it worth exploring? Norm
