I had previously fired up RP8 so I found the rpnp.so in /usr/lib/RealPlayer8 and copied it to /usr/lib/mozilla-1.0.1/plugins and retried Nemesis at iFilm.
Same error -- it will not save my preferences. I have chosen RealPlayer8 as the default and Windows Media, Quicktime, and Flash "Not Installed", are those your settings?
