Cool utility. It is mentioned in the man page that the microcode update is volatile and needs to be uploaded on each system boot. How can I automate that procedure? Would the command be entered into /etc/rc.d/?
It is also mentioned in the documentation that one can use "rpm -ta <filename.tar.gz>" to install the program. However, "rpm -t" is an unknown option.

Or you could install the kernel-utils RPM which contains dmidecode
