Of course, I hope that nothing else is generating kern.debug messages ....
mmm... How about using a unique log prefix and then filtering? For example:
# /sbin/iptables -A INPUT -j LOG --log-level DEBUG --log-prefix "vanecek: " ... # grep vanecek /var/log/packets
