HI list, As some of you know by now I'm new to mac. I want to find out
if you will get the same performence using a mac laptop as you will
get using a desktop for music production {recording/mixing/
processing]? The reason for asking this is that the case on pc is that
you'll never get the same performence from a laptop and desktop even
if they have the exact same specs, the desktop is always faster. As
some of you already advised me against a mac mini for what I want to
do, I guess the way to go is a mac book pro or imac but if they'll
give me simular performence I might aswel go for the MBP as it will
give me the advantage of being mobile. I also read someware [can't
remember wair] that you get some extention card for the MBP or imac to
plug in a PCI card, could you please give me some info on this and
maybe a website where I can check it out.
