Hi Kevin, I'm a big fan of your music, really awesome, especially the metal stuff. :) I found 1 podcast from you explaining Pro Tools basics and 2 more about editing. Are there any more around, please do more because you explain things in a way that's more logical than reading through these messages. When you say show only the tracks you're working with do you mean go through every track and hide the others in order to select the tracks you want to edit? That seems like it would take forever if you were working with 30 or more tracks and wanted to edit say 2, 10, 17, 23 etc. Is this the main reason people on here have control surfaces? I don't get why Pro Tools doesn't have an easy way to select tracks that aren't right next to each other. Also, can you please tell me where I have to be to use the command A option and highlight all of the tracks? I've tried the mix and edit windows and the track table but command A doesn't work for me yet.
