Hiya All, I am trying to expand my home setup to support a multiroom configuration. I've brought an analogue mixer, which should do the trick, and will replace the current old battered thing I'm using for the analogue part of my routing.
The only thing that's baffling me, is how I will get talkback. There's no talkback on the desk so far as I know, so the obvious answer which sprung to my mind was to use the inbuilt mic of my laptop. Then, this raises the question of how I'd toggle it on and off, does anyone know how you do that, or have a better idea of how I could do this, or even, if there's a way of using multiple audio interfaces in Pro Tools, so I could have me a channel spacifically dedicated to talkback, using my laptop's mic, which I could arm, and turn up and down.
