Hi Krister,

While that setup will technically work, your internal drive will become fairly 
fragmented over time. Again, it'll work but I'm not sure if it'll be adequate. 
If you're just doing a few tracks for fairly small projects, I suppose it'll 
suffice. One other thing to consider is that most internal drives are 5400 rpm 
unless they're desktop models. You really should be using 7200 or 10,000 rpm 
drives. Just a suggestion: why not partition your internal drive to dual boot 
and just use the external drive for backup/media?
