I have an 11.5 Imac, quad core, 2GB ram running lion and PT 8.4. Now that I am activly using waves with some other plugins I am experiencing buffer bugs and CPU issues. Is anyone else using an Imac and if so, are there any tips to help stream line the way PT functions in it? Also I was talking to a friend yesterday and he was telling me that an Imac was more or less a highbread laptop and further away from the desktop family, does anyone have thoughts on that statement? I am asking because I feel like I should be able to put a heavier load on it. The load I can put on my desktop PC is hurckilian compared to my Imac at this point.
