Hiya mate, I won't go into all the cabling studs since everyone else clearly knows much more than I do, but here's what you'll need to do once you get the cable.
Firstly, head to the setup menu, and click on peripherals. In there, press on the MIDI controllers tab, or press the relevant command key. Then select an empty slot, and make the following selections: In the first drop down, select HUI as the protocol. Then in the second, select the project mix control. Do the same for the third. The last option should only have the option of 8 anyways. Next, head to playback engine in the setup menu, and select the project mix from the first drop down menu. Finally, just to make sure, bred head to the IO options in the setup menu, and ensure everything's good, by pressing command a on each page of the dialogue, then clicking first the delete path button, then the defaults button. Now inputs and outputs should show up fine. HTH, Sent from my iPad On 25 Feb 2013, at 13:12, Krister Ekstrom <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello folks. > I have a little problem here.
