the process is called ducting and someone more experienced with side chaining compressors may be able to explain better how its done. I know of no easy way to do this in Pro TOools off hand. However garage band makes it relatively easy. Import your two tracks in grage band, make one the ducting leader, (the voice) and one the ducting follower, (the music) If you need more fine tune control than what garage band gives you over it, then you will have to use the manual method with a compressor in pro tools. There is plenty of articles on side chaining compressors out there online if you don't mind googling around, checking out podcast like home recording show, or blogs like home studio corner, or recording revolution. None of these are blind specific but one you understand what needs to be done its just a matter of executing with voice over and keyboard instead of clicking with a mouse.
