Hi John, There are two aspects to your question: one is the matter of ordering input sources to be sequential from a given track and the other is the issue of track arming.
For input source ordering, on the first input source for which you want to start the ascending order of inputs, with the VoiceOver cursor focused on the source pop-up menu, route the mouse pointer to the VoiceOver cursor with Control-Option-Command-f5. Then, while holding down the Option and Command modifiers, press either a physical mouse button or a track pad button. The menu will pop up. Use standard navigation methods to select the channel you want that track to be assigned to. The subsequent tracks will be assigned in ascending order of input channels. The second part can be done in several ways. The long way is to interact with each track, navigate to the record enable button and press it. It's a bit shorter to use the Item Chooser to bring up a list, type r e c and the list will narrow down to record buttons only. Use the arrow keys to go down the list, press Return and click on the button, repeating it for 10 tracks. A faster way would be to use Control-Shift-semicolon to extend the track selection down or across from track 6 through 16 and then press Control-r to record enable the selected tracks. The fastest way is to use a control surface's dedicated record buttons.
