I am not recording MIDI intro GB currently. I have never recorded MIDI with GB. I bought a drum set, and I am going to get some drum triggers for the heads, and run those into an Alesis Trigger IO. From there I would go USB into a computer, ideally running PT. But since I only have PT 8, I need an interface with it. So with my current setup, I would have to unhook my 003 from the studio and take it down two flights to record into my Macbook. There's no way. I suppose I could get a 50 or 100 ft usb cable, but then there's the issue of monitoring. The virtual drums would be upstairs on the Mac Pro with Strike.
