Hello good people. Well i'm slowly and surely starting to put pieces together when it comes to Pro tools and how to manage that beast. I've looked at the different modules, and found amongst other things that Expand has an absolutely wonderful Yamaha cp 80 in its arsenal. I'm also trying to find good ways of making drum tracks that aren't totally out of time. I've found an instrument called Boom, which looks a bit like an old drum machine to me in that it has rhythm patterns and different kinds of drums, but what i wonder now, if anyone has used Boom for anything is, can one make ones own patterns or changing patterns mid song? I'm not actually sure how to make drum tracks nowadays because when i last made drum tracks i used old drum machines or tried to play drums on the keyboard that didn't work so well, because i was a bit out of time. So i guess the real question in this newbyish rant is how do you experienced guys do drum tracks and with what under Pro tools? /Krister
