OK, so, here's the situation.

I would like to test a few things as far as accessibility is concerned with ProTools 11. I myself currently do not have the financial resources to upgrade my license to 11.0, and even if I did, frankly, I'm not totally convinced that I'd want to do so, as I don't want to lose my 10.0 ILok asset for 10.0. The thing is, I can't go into any specific details do to NDA agreements, but I won't be breaking my NDA to at least say this much, and leave it to rest after that... I myself am an Apple Mac OSX developer. This means that yes. I do have access to a machine running 10.9 Mavericks. I can't, nor will, go into any details at all about Mavericks so don't ask. I'm on a very very strict NDA. This being said, I wonder how easy it would be for me to get a trial version of 11.0 just long enough for me to install it under Mavericks and do some testing. I understand it's not supported in Mavericks, nor would I expect for it to be. I mean, come on! 10.9's not even released yet to the general public. How could I expect PT to be supported on a prereleased platform. OK, yeah, I get it, ok. But, I'd rather help Avid as well as other developers test things so that when it is! ready to go live, and be supported, we can have as many accessibility querks worked out as possible. The main biggest problems I see is that 1, ILok isn't accessible from what I now hear, so trying to get the 11 trial asset on to my ILok may present me with a challenge. Secondly, as I said, if it does like it did with my MP9 crossgrade to 10.0 Standard, that will be desasterous! I don't want it overwriting my 10 asset with my 11 trial license, thus removing the 10.0 license not only from my ILok itself, but also from my whole ILok account, thus giving me no way to get it back again. That really! pissed me off!

I'm just wondering what the best corse of action's gonna be for me to get the ball rolling on this.

Just know, if you too are a dev, you're on strict NDA just like I am, so any discussion about how I can get up with a trial of PT11 is fine, but any comments specifically in reference to Mavericks and PT any version is strictly off limits for discussion.

Anyway, thanks for the help.

Chris.
