The stock Avid/DigiDesign plug ins are quite useable and accessible, So long
as you get rid of the AAX version to force pro tools to fall back to the older
RTAS versions. Do this by navigating to Macintosh HD/Library/Application
Support/Avid/Audio/Plug ins/ and moving all the plug ins in that folder to a
plug ins folder to the desktop or to the trash. Be sure that all the plug in
this folder ends with dot aax. If so get rid of them. Otherwise the izotope
plug ins are quite accessible and alot of waves and other thrid part stuff are,
but you will need acontrol surface to change parameters.
