Well as far as mixing goes pro tools is pretty accessible. You just may need to 
remove the AAX Plug ins so the more accessible RTAS versions will be available. 
I honestly dont kow how much the genre of the music being mixed will make a 
difference. But if you are already recording and arranging in reaper, why not 
just mix there as well?
