Hi, My school has a pro tools HDX system and I am able to use voiceover
when the Avid core audio manager is working as the speech comes over the
console speakers. The issue comes when pro tools is running as the Avid
core audio manager needs to stop for pro tools HDX to start. I have
been in the voiceover utility and changed the output to the internal
outputs and tried all outputs when pro tools is launched but with no
luck. My teacher was telling me headphones would be nice but there is
no real easy method to connect them to the headphone jack of the mac
system in the studio. What other methods can anyone suggest for
voiceover to work when both pro tools is running and not running as I am
ok with using headphones but it would be nice if there could be a method
for both pro tools and voiceover to work at once? Nick Gawronski
