I personally am still on PT10, so you have at least one list member who hasn't yet converted. the only reason I've not though is financial reasoning. I have every intention however to upgrade probably in the next month or two. the only other thing really holding me back is, I don't have anyone sighted near me who is technologically savvy enough to help me with getting the PT 10/11 bundle ILok license on my ILok dongle. Aside those two things though, if I can find a way to work around those issues, I definitely will be updating, no question.

Chris.

Subject: Pro Tools 10 v. 11 Accessibility Improvements

Hi PT Access community,

I'm reconnecting with the community after a long absence. I've been
subsisting on PT HD 8 plus Sonar. It appears a lot has happened with PT
accessibility in PT 11.1 while I was gone. I'm just now trying to catch up
and see if I can benefit from accessibility improvements. Unfortunately,
because I am limited to my HD Accel hardware, I cannot use PT HD 11. And,
because my current MAC Pro is from 2008, it appears I cannot use PT Native
11. After catching up on some of the forum posts, can folks confirm the
below?

-More features are accessible in PT 10 than were previously accessible in
PT 8
-PT 10 accessibility is hindered in Mountain Lion so I should go to
Mavericks or stay on Lion
-MIDI event handling is still inaccessible in PT 10 so I'll need to keep
using Sonar for these tasks until I can move to PT 11.1

Are folks on the list still using PT 10 or has everyone moved up to 11.1 to
take advantage of additional accessibility improvements?
