Hello folks, I am really having trouble figuring out what I am doing wrong here. I'm trying to adjust the tempo of my session, and it's like voiceover is not putting me in the text field to type in my new tempo. When I try to backspace over the tempo, voiceover says nothing. I have also tried to press the T key to tap in my tempo and when I go away from the edit box and come back to it, it is still set at the default tempo. Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong? Here are the steps I did to accomplish this.
1. I go in to my transport window with command+1. 2. I interacted with the midi control cluster and went over and turned off the conductor track. I pressed vo+space on conductor to make sure that voiceover said that it was not selected so that I knew that the conductor track was now off. 3. I went back to the left to my tempo edit field, I pressed vo+space on that field so that I was in the box to type. I tried to backspace over the tempo value to type a new one and this is where I get stuck. Voiceover doesn't say anything when I am trying to delete the tempo that is there. When I try typing in a new tempo and pressing return, the default tempo is still there. I also tried pressing the enter key on the numpad after typing in my new tempo, and it is still not working. I thought maybe that return was not the right enter to press so I tried pressing enter on the numpad, the tempo still would not change. Also when I try to close the transport window with vo+tab and then vo+command+w, nothing happens. The window is not closing for me. Could really use some help. What am I doing wrong? Like I said before, it's like voiceover is not even putting me in the text box to type in a new tempo value when I select it with vo+space to be able to type in a new value, and I confirmed that by also trying to tap in the tempo with the t key and it is still giving me the default tempo value of 120.
