That's awesome, you've pretty much sold me on it. I just talked to the
guys at Sweetwater, and they suggested it as well.
I'd like to talk to you more about the Mackie, just to get a general
layout of it to go voer some stuff if that's cool. Protools is going to
be new to me, but i'm really excited about jumping in.

For the money, I recommend the Mackie Control Universal Pro.
It's got everything you need for controlling Pro Tools, Logic, Cakewalk,
Reaper, and others.
It runs for about 11 hundred, but is seriously a better bang for the buck.
Mackie has been in this space for over 10 years, and these controllers are
build rock solid.
