Hi Krister, I understand your feelings about the blindness perspective, of course. A little later today I'll take the time to write a full explanation of the editing modes. I've never really done that on the list and, in the interest of not reinventing the wheel, hopefully you and a few others will soak in the explanation and, the next time it comes up, more folks will be able to contribute with explanations of the edit modes.
