Hi, I also enjoied the demo. I thought someone on this list had created
a domain for pro tools accessibility related issues and these are where
these types of things should be put and I did offer to help out on that
site but never got any feedback on the issue. I do have the file and
will keep it around if anyone should want it. Nick Gawronski

Thanks for recording this Slau, it certainly filled a few holes in my knowledge
and I look forward to the next installment you mentioned.

Hi,
I thought it was a bit confusing, but that's no fault of yours, it was my curiosity that side tracked me. I
got absolutely fascinated with the way you edited the file, and i found myself thinking something like
"Ok so he split the region or separated it at the selection, does he have to do that at the end of the
region as well? Hmm, interesting" and so forth, so it was interesting though the modes were still a bit
confusing but i gather it's a bit like "insert" and "overwrite" modes in a text editor...
although not quite. Looking forward to next installment.

I listened back to the file I posted yesterday and I realized that I really
should have used music that was more familiar and not a jazz piece. As you all
might appreciate, when you're performing a task and jumping between regions,
it's much more apparent where you are because you know what you expect to hear
and, upon quick reference, the confirmation is virtually instantaneous. To
anyone else listening, it becomes confusing. I decided I'll do the
demonstration with a piece of music that just about everybody will be familiar
with and things will be a lot clearer.
Later,
Slau
