Hi Brian,

I'm about to leave the studio so maybe someone can chime in with more details
but, in brief:

Select the region you wish to extend.
If you want what follows that region to move later in the timeline to
accommodate the lengthening of the selected region, make sure you're in Shuffle
mode, f1. If you want the extension to overlap the subsequent regions, use Slip
mode, f2.

Use Command-plus on the numeric keypad to extend the right side boundary of the
region by the nudge value.
Someone else is going to have to go over setting the nudge value with shortcuts
but, by clicking the Nudge value button in the Edit window, you can select the
value based on whatever time format you'd like.

Command-hyphen on the num pad will retract the region boundary back by the
nudge value.

Option-plus or minus will do the same for the left side of the region boundary.
To use the correct terminology, it's really region start and region end but
boundary is used in general when referring to changing either the beginning or
ending of the region with those shortcuts which are, by the way, listed in the
Keyboard Shortcuts pdf. Check it out when you have some time.

Hope that helps,

Slau
