Hi, I don't mind buying the Pro Tools 12 upgrade now even if I won't get
anything new out of it currently but before I do is the digi 003 the one
with the moving controls supported and will I be able to do anything
with Pro Tools 10 if I upgrade to version 12 as I have it installed on
my Lion 10.7 backup drive and was wondering if I should get rid of it or
can I still use version 10 with the 12 license? Nick Gawronski

Hi Brian,
The installation itself is accessible via the installer application. What isn't
accessible yet is the activation. You'll need your activation code, your iLok user
name & password as well as your Avid master account user name and password.
Once you set up those things, you probably won't have to enter the user name and
passwords again for a long time or at least until you need to authorize a
third-party plug-in.

Hi Bryan,
maybe you find this a bit rude, but, why don't you try it first? When things
don't work, no harm done I think.
In my opinion it is a much better feeling and result when you do something on
your own, instead of asking help in advance. have fun,
Mac

Hello all,
I am going to be doing a fresh installation of pro tools on my mac. I
purchased pro tools 12 yesterday. I guess my questions is, what parts of the
installation process can I do without sighted assistance, and which parts will
I need sighted assistance for? I purchased the software from sweet water, so I
got an email with my activation code for pro tools and installation
instructions. Thanks for the help,
Brian
