Hi. yes there is. I had to google this the other day. But have not tried to do 
it as yet. Apparently, when you are in the track list, i think you have to 
select the track, then there is a drop down menu, hopefully v o m will bring up 
the appropriate menue. there is supposed to be an option in there called split 
to tracks. This creates two extra tracks from the stereo track. so you can then 
delete the one you don’t want, if need be.

As i say. this came from the knowledge base on the avid web site. So you may 
need to google this issue to get the full deal. But from what i can see it’s 
basically doable.
