Howdy there.

I just upgraded to PT12. Sweetwater Support even helped me with the ILok
license transfer. Totally totally awesome! I swear, they never sease to
impress me at their fantastic level of support! It's incredible! Anyway, I do
have two really quick questions though.

First of all, I've not yet updated this mac to Yosemite. Mainly because,
though I know it's doable, and a lot of you are actually doing it, I'm not at
all fond of the fact that in Yosemite, at least with PT 11.X, a lot of the
popup buttons wouldn't speak as you opened them up, then vo+up and down arrowed
through them. I know this has been visited before, however, I don't think
since PT 12 came out the other day this has been ascertained. So, I'm
interested in knowing if in ProTools 12, will I still see this behavior with
Yosemite? I get that this is a ProTools issue, not a Voiceover issue. No need
to tell me that. I get that. I'm just wonderring though if this issue has
been fixed. Further, does anyone without breaking any kind of NDA know maybe
what it is generally speaking that caused those to break like that in Yosemite?
Is it just the way that they visually look on the screen is confusing
Voiceover?

Anyway, so, here's my second question. In the past, I noticed that ProTools
10 and 11 both had a seperet dmg which I downloaded from my Avid master account
for the Air Creative stuff like Xpand2 etc. Now however in version 12, I see
something kind of interesting. I'm seeing two separate downloads... one for
the Xpand2, but another just called Air Instruments Bundle. I definitely do
need Xpand2. So I'm curious. It looks like the Air Instruments is a separate
download from the Air Effects, and from the Xpand2 DMG. Being it however says
"Bundle," I'm curious. Do I need to download and install the Xpand Instruments
DMG, or is that actually bundled along with other things in the Air Instruments
DMG. I just don't want to download the Xpand2 standalone DMG only to find that
it already was in the new Air Instruments bundle. If I need both, then please
explain to me what the Air Instruments gives me. Sweetwater wasn't totally
sure. I just don't want to waist my time installing something twice and being
redundant. Know what I mean?

Thank you for you all's help. By the way, I'm loving what I'm seeing thus far
with PT 12.

Chris.
