As long as I can find Internet access at the various hotels, I'll try to comment where possible or as time allows.
Chris, there are a couple of things you should check. First, make sure there are no other windows open. I'm not referring to Pro Tools windows, although that's also a consideration. Sometimes there are system dialogs and notifications that are open and technically blocking the underlying Mix or Edit windows. Bring up the window Chooser list and make sure to close all open windows other than Mix and Edit. Further, Try zooming your window, it's possible that something might have inadvertently gotten resized, as unlikely as that is, it doesn't hurt to zoom. Make sure to press page up to ensure that the tracks with which you're interacting are truly visible in the Mix window. As a further measure, hide all other tracks and show only the track you wish to work with for send assignments. I find that the first step of ensuring all other windows are hidden solves the problem and sometimes the paging up is the issue.
