Hi, Just wondering what tests exist as I would like to test my digi 003 to see what it's best settings are? Nick Gawronski On Mon, 25 May 2015, TheOreoMonster wrote:

The reason i suggest starting at 44.1khz is that unless you have a high end
interface chances are your interface while capable may not perform its best at
88.2khz or 96khz. There are proven test to verify this incase you want to put
your sound card to the challenge. I assumed the person asking the question
(since they did after all ask the question) that they were relatively new and
using modes gear, so suggest an option that would get them quality results
without taxing their system,.

Hi, I usually go to 24 bit 96 KHZ the highest that Pro Tools supports with my
digi 003 as my point is I want to get the most out of my equipment. I almost
always record to an external drive unless it is just a recording I am not
planning on doing anything major with or just practice editing with. Nick
