Very true. I use a Mac book Pro for my daily workflow, and this means I also 
had to invest in an external keyboard. What I have found is generally you can 
pick up a nice Apple keyboard with the number pad pretty cheaply on eBay. Or 
all else, I think they are $40 direct from Apple. A small price to pay for the 
convenience. Of that I am certain.
