Selecting the track from front to end and then applying the normolisation should do the trick.

I have a session I'm working on which I'd like to play around a bit with audio suite on. Let's say I use the audio suite normalize funtion. How exactly does this work? I don't want to normalize the whole session. I only need to normalize just one mono audio track. Do I just run the audio suite normalization after selecting only that one track in the track list table, or do I also first need to select the range of audio first that I want to be processed. What's the correct procedure to do this? If I normalize the whole session by accident, it's gonna probably deafen me.
