Guys? I! am stoked! God dang that was easy! I just purchased a copy of the Synthogy Ivory Concert D, which it looks like is what we have presets for. I had sweetwater help me look to see what presets were up on the ProTools with speech site.
The process to transfer the ILok asset from my account to my actual ILok dongle with the new manager was incredible! Absolutely beautiful! I required no sighted help, and the process went more smoothely than I think it ever has! I'm absolutely blown away! So, I now just have a couple of real real quick questions. I actually canceled my order from Sweetwater as I didn't know this, but they were going to ship me out a physical DVD copy box of the install media. Turns out, Synthogy has another distributer, Ilio, which offers a downloadable version. OK, the concert D set is like, 49GB in size, so beware it's freaking humungous, but! the point being, it is! doable if you don't wanna sit and wait on a box to arrive, which I kind a didn't. Call me a bit impatient, but, anyway... The only question I now have is, after I unzip this Ivery presets file, I know there will be one folder under there. I also know that that whole folder needs to go in the same folder with all my other ProTools presets. The question is, where do I find this folder where I need to paste the content within this preset zip file? I'm using ProTools 12.3, and am on El Capitan 10.11.1. I am not running any sort of OSX beta. This is the standard official release. I know I manually could import each preset from anywhere on my mac, but that's kind of annoying/tedious. I would like to do this all in one bang. I did it the manual way with my Waves CLA2A, and let me tell ya: it worked, but man was it annoying! Thank you for any help. I also have another completely unrelated question, so be on the lookout, please. Smile.
