I'm sure you have seen this article, but for your convenience , here's the link below. I'm about to drop the big 10K plus on an HDX, and I will also be upgrading my Waves to AAX format. The author of the artical and some plus-ins seems to think that VST native is the long run for the future, and that HDX is not necessarily the way to go.
