Hi Nathan,

It's very easy to go to any beat you want. The numeric keypad will get you to 
the precise point. However, your original question seems to be about 
programming drums and there are all kinds of ways to accomplish this. Which 
method you choose depends on your preference. Most people either just enter 
MIDI data to trigger drum sounds, whether synth or sample. Any method you've 
used in the past can be accomplished in Pro Tools.
