The other thing is, if you originally set your marker location with pre-roll 
enabled, your marker will be two bars off when you disable pre-roll. In other 
words, if you thought you were on bar 4 because the pre-roll started your 
playback from bar 4 , your actual location would have been bar 6 with a two-bar 
pre-roll. I'm not necessarily saying John set the marker wrong. I think he knew 
enough to enter the main counter start point first and then simply hit Enter to 
create a marker. Anyway, just something to keep in mind if pre-roll is enabled.
