Guys, I remember Slau saying a while back that this was a known bug in ProTools 12.0, and possibly even 11.X, but I wanted to see if it still existed. I know the obvious thing as Slau would say would be, I dono Chris, don't rely on us for this. Just try it and see, but in my defense, with all due respect, I'm not in the studio right now where I can look. So, I was hoping either Slau, or someone else on here could confirm. Is it now possible, if I hit command+numpad 4 to open the automation window, then select plugin automation, is that still broken, or in PT 12.4, has it once again been fixed where I can automate parameter changes within a plugin. Yes, the settings I'd need to menipulate at certain parts of my track are definitly automatable. Back in PT 10, I could do it no problem, but it seems like since V11 on up, I've not been able to. Volume automation works, so, I know beyond a doubt that I'm not writing automation incorrectly. I do that all the time with volume event changes.
