guys, I have a bit of a question. back when the update manager was not accessible, I uninstalled the utility. I figured: why have it installed in the first place, especially if it's not going to do anything for me.
recently, I updated to ProTools 12.4. I know from following messages on this list that the update manager is now accessible. I just don't know the steps necessary to reinstall it. this isn't a matter of having someone cited such as my mother go through and help me get it updated. The utility is not even installed in the first place. I looked in my Applications/avid, but all I can find is the uninstall utility. Obviously, this isn't going to do me a single bit of good. LOL! I looked under my account on the avid website, but I see absolutely no way to download the installer individually. and, when I upgraded from ProTools 12.3 to version 12.4, it did not come back. what is the best strategy for getting this problem fixed?
