Hi Peter, you definitely don’t have to wait until Avid has new iLok keys in stock. Instead, you could try looking around on Amazon, that’s how I got mine in about 24 hours. Once you received your iLok, you can create an account on the ilok.com <http://ilok.com/> website and download the License Manager from there. The License Manager is basically used to register your new iLok dongle to your account and to transfer new licenses onto the dongle, this is something which used to be inaccessible with VO but has fortunately become accessible thanks to the latest License Manager upgrade! Once you’re set up with your ilok.com <http://ilok.com/> account and dongle, you can either purchase PT directly, or you can get a free 30-day trial to get a first impression before spending the money.
