back up your bookmarks and then trash the safari folder in the user library
folder after closing safari. When you relaunch safari ti should be as good a s
new and you can reimport your bookmarks .

I don’t torrent at all, but I had a guy come in about a year ago and was
messing with that Mack and he was trying to download a file to work on in the
studio and my Safari has been acting up every since. It either won’t open, or
when it does there is some add ware on it and that is why I am trying to locate
a copy of mal ware.

I wouldn’t worry about it if you don’t torrent and don’t participate in other
risky behavior like frequenting untrustworthy sites etc. lock down your
browsers use good security practices and between that and apples frequent
security update/malware updates you should be fine.

This is the only Mack related list that I am on or I would post this question
somewhere else. On my older Mack running OSX lion, 10.7.5 I think it has a bug
and I am trying to find an older free version of malware bites to run on it,
but I can’t find one on the web and I don’t torrent, if somebody has a DMG of
it maybe they can send it to me at <mailto:heavens4r...@gmail.com>

Much appreciated
