Hi In my opinion no, just stay where you are, on Yosemite. I can't give you spesific reasons or examples, but over all Yosemite just felt much more smooth and solid than El Capitan. Not that updating will break or hectically change something in terms of PT, but if it was my choice, I'd stay put on 10.10. If it wasn't such a mission reinstalling everything and if i had the time, i would have been back on Yosemite long time ago.
