Well, let's put it this way.

I just bought the entire Synthogy IvoryII Grand Pianos set. After what Vinny told me earlier on list, I figured, OK, I'll just go ahead and get the set. Had to take a loan from my bank to do it, but, being that he is a very reliable source, and I know he, along with Slau, Kevin, and Chuck have been some of the most longest using PT users on this list, so believe me, I'd trust anything Vinny would say. If he says all work aside Italian grands, then I feel in my disgression, it's worth a try. And, doing it this way, at least I'll now know that I'm getting everything, so all my custom presets now should work.

I'm trying to find someone to do the Italian Grand for all of us, but I can't make any promises. I know someone who'll do it, but it is just a matter with his incredibly hectic schedule when I can get him over here to do it, and, when I can pay 'em for his time/gas, so if someone else can beat me to the job, then by all means, do it! Before anyone asks, of course I'll make the presets available if I get them done before anyone else, and I'd hope you'd do the same.

So yeah, Ivory I use quite a bit. The... what is that... DB33 Hamand works really really impressively well. I also use Xpand2, and once in a blue blue moon, I'll use Pianoteq 5 Stage.

I thought about getting Native Instruments down the road, but I'm not sure if the installer is accessible. I hear it's not. I'm quite sure Sweetwater can get it installed for me though remotely. Question though would be, are there custom presets. I kind a remember hearing that yes, there are.

Sooner're later, I'm gonna have to get another hard disk, as I'm running out of room. I don't do cheesy synths, that's for sure. Most of the VI's I use are really high end.

Subject: Whih kind of virtual instruments are you using

Hi Listers,

Just a quick question. I'm wondering which Virtual Instruments are you all using?
Some without any problem, some with some creative tricks?

Is there some intrest to bring up a site, with a list of accessible plugins at all?

Thanks for your reactions,

Peter Durieux
